Terms and Conditions of Sale (TCS)

1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of antiques, vintage, and second-hand items offered on www.lamaisondesobjets.com.

2. Nature of the Products

Products sold by La Maison des Objets are unique pieces, second-hand, sourced items sold as-is, and may show signs of wear, patina, or restoration.
Photographs are for illustrative purposes only and may show slight variations (color, patina, wear over time).

3. Prices

Prices are in euros (€), inclusive of VAT, excluding delivery charges. The applicable price is the one in effect at the time of the order.

4. Orders and Payment

Order confirmation constitutes acceptance of these TCS.
Payments can be made by credit card, SumUp, or bank transfer.
Orders are shipped only after full payment has been received.

5. Delivery

Delivery is made to the address provided by the customer.
Delivery times are indicative, with a legal maximum of 30 days.
La Maison des Objets cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the carrier.

6. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, private buyers have 14 days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide reasons or pay penalties.

Specific conditions for second-hand and antique items:

• Products are unique pieces sold as-is and may show signs of wear, patina, or restoration.

• Photos and descriptions are provided for reference only.

• Returns are only possible if the item is returned in the exact condition in which it was delivered.

Procedure:

1. Notification by email to contact@lamaisondesobjets.com within the legal period.

2. Return at the buyer’s expense, carefully packaged, to:
   La Maison des Objets – 154 avenue Ampère, 30600 Vauvert – France.

3. Refund within 14 days of receipt and verification of the item’s condition.

4. A reduction in the refund may be applied if the item has been excessively handled or damaged.

7. Legal Guarantees

• Legal guarantee of conformity: 2 years (may be reduced to 1 year for second-hand items, stated on the invoice).

• Guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
